I wasn't on for a few days but May 16th was my 19 year alive day. May 16 2006 I was shot during a firefight in Mulaab Ramadi Iraq. Leg was cut off a few hours later. 72 hours later was in Bethesda. The 4 guys pictured saved my life and we fought together. I owe them.

We need to get back to American Pride.

We will never forget their Sacrifice.

Tomorrow we remember those who gave all but for many of us...we never forget their sacrifice.

36 years ago on my dad's 49th BDay I left for MCRD SanDiego. Looking back, I could never imagine what my choice of becoming a Marine would give me.

Oh the enjoyment in having 3 of the grands 2 days a week. But, they sure can wear us out.

This happens to be the most important decision we make in our life, because the spiritual life after this sinful life will be forever. We have Grace by God because of Jesus' atonement for our sins.

4 New books delivered this week. I started with Bully Pulpit. As a Christian who reads the Bible everyday, I also read other books about Faith and History. I encourage every Christian to really study the word, then pray for discernment, and you will recognize the wolves.

Seems about right to me.

I picked a heat streak to get on the garage roof!

So proud of my wife. Finally, I got the shingles this afternoon after a shipping debacle. 2 hours in and storms approached. Then, while raining, she got on the roof and spread tarps. Her first time... let alone in the rain. Amazing woman, and I'm proud of her.
