We are so saddened to learn of the passing of Ron Irwin, who served as the 9th Fire Chief for the City of Sparks from 1990 to 2000. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and we are forever grateful for his service to our community and department.

Members of our Tech Rescue Team trained in a simulated confined space rescue while in the presence of hazardous materials. These training scenarios are designed to prepare our crews for real-world emergencies where multiple disciplines must come together quickly and seamlessly.
