Important part of the Weekend duty officer is speaking to Special Constables who are out there giving up their time to help protect their Local Policing Areas. Today I've spoken with officers in Walsall Police, Dudley Police & Birmingham Police #SCW55 71467

Good catch up with Special Chief Officer Craig Batham MBE this afternoon into how what they offer their Specials Supervisors in terms of training and support. Now time for late's force briefing to see if there is anything demand we might be able to support with. 71467


On patrol around Willenhall and Short Heath Police and spotted a suspicious transit van. Turns out it had no insurance! One driver reported and vehicle seized 👍 71285


Last night 3 of our Brierley Hill Police #Specials were on duty including the 2 #Sergeants who are both now #Taser trained.They attended 6 incidents,an arrest for drink driving offences followed by 2 vehicles being #seized for #Provisional licences & 3 #Stinger contingencies. 70150


Force Duty officer this weekend. Starts with force briefing then off to Wolverhampton Police to see their Special Constables. This vehicle all most takes the front end off of my vehicle. Turns out no insurance #seized and reported. 71467


5 of our resilience Officers and #SCW55 deployed to a Critical Incident over in Birmingham Police in support of the large scene that was in place. This allowed a number of regular resources to be freed to return to service. Log ref 3762-070625 71467



Saturday our officer based in Wolverhampton Police were out supporting the local Pride event. Later they were able to bring their language skills to support regular colleagues another incident unrelated to Pride. 71467
