Speed & Hurdle Coach RP Sportsmith Use Velocity based training to get strong. Don’t get me wrong. It’s great for gamification/learning and motivating for player. Whilst being informative for the coach for prescription of load. But max strength on only has secondary/tertiary transfer to running fast.

In order to travel far each step, you must PUSH the ground BACKWARDS. When your thigh is behind you this can be termed as BACKSIDE MECHANICS. Therefore, without effective backside mechanics we’ll not create enough forwards momentum. Without a big PUSH we will not go anywhere!
