It’s Day 2 of #SportLit2025 at Mercy University in Dobbs Ferry, NY. Day 1 got us off to a great start, big highlight was the keynote from celebrated author Joseph O'Neill pictured here with host David Kilpatrick & program chair Adam Winkel.

Next up we have our second fiction panel of the conference and this time we are being transported to the ballpark for some baseball stories #SportLit2025 ⚾️

After our morning coffee break we're back to talk about the pedagogy of sport literature which very close to the hearts of a lot of our members who are leaders in sport literature education #SportLit2025

It's afternoon poetry time! And we have a lovely session now listening to the legendary Ron Smith read some of his sports poetry #SportLit2025

Next up our panel on 'Allegories of Play and Resistance' #SportLit2025

For the final session for Day 2, we are casting our minds back to the early years of SLA and celebrating those who worked to build our community of sport literature scholars #SportLit2025
