This afternoon in Computing, we looked at the ‘hidden Easter eggs’ on the internet - we had so much fun!

As part of our science lesson today, we dissected some seeds and then planted our own sunflowers 🌻

We have had so much fun in our maths session today practising how we add one more teddy bear onto our tens bus! We added one at a time, counted and checked the quantity was always more at the end! 🧸

We are enjoying our new topic ‘Holidays’ this week. We have been learning all about the different countries we could visit around the world and how people used to communicate via postcards when they went on holiday! Some of us had never seen a postcard before! Springwell Park🧡

Our home corner has been turned into a travel agents and we have been very busy deciding where we might like to go on holiday, what transport we might use to get there and what type of accommodation we might like to stay in! Springwell Park🧡

We are learning all about ‘around the world’, Mrs Connolly has been busy in our travel agents/plane with the children this week, booking lots of different holidays. The children’s imagination is amazing, if you have any holiday pics please tweet them to us 🥰 Springwell Park🧡

While we are learning about plants in Year Two, we have been looking after our own tomato plants. Ask your child about the parts of a plant. Springwell Park🧡

Year 1 🧡 are you impressed? In maths today we worked as a whole class to draw a map of our local area and describe each place using positional language 🥰 we busy are getting ready for September! Springwell Park🧡

We enjoyed team games in PE today, we worked hard to work together and listen to each other 💜 Springwell Park🧡 PE and Sport

We had an amazing day at our Y5 career day today. The children loved learning about different occupations. Thank you so much to all of our visitors and to Mrs Ellis for organising it. 💜
