Starting on March 3 to 7, Public Works will remove the landscaping on the traffic island located along Cleveland Avenue off Highway 99.  This work will result in lane closures along Cleveland Avenue and take place overnight. Please follow all signage and be aware of crews.

The Squamish Landfill will be closed on April 29 for scale re-calibration. This routine maintenance ensures the weigh scale provides accurate readings and meets regulatory standards. Please note: A bin will be available at the landfill for Pitch-In Week participants.

The District has been advised that the boat ramp at the Squamish Yacht Club will undergo repairs from April 29 to May 1. These repairs are being carried out on behalf of WLNG to address wear from previous use.

As part of Emergency Preparedness Week, the B.C. Emergency Alert System will be tested. This test is scheduled for Wednesday, May 7 at 1:55 p.m. During a system test, an alert tone and message are broadcast to radio, TV, and compatible cell phones.
