Back on top! Squirrel Softball wins the 2025 Class B state softball championship 4-1 over Des-Lacs Burlington/Lewis & Clark. Central Cass reclaims their crown in North Dakota, thanks in large part to Sophie Scherweit who made a great defensive play and followed it up with a home run!

The mission was completed this afternoon by Squirrel Softball. After falling in the state title game last year, the Squirrels get some redemption with a 4-1 win over Des Lacs-Burlington. It's the seventh state softball title for Central Cass.
