Dear Srebrenica, Today, I am thinking about this testimony, from a survivor of the Pionirska Street massacre (Višegrad), in which 70 Bosniak civilians were locked into a house by Milan Lukić's Serb param. forces and burned alive. Little Aida's words haunt me: "Mommy, save me."

Between 1992-95 the Dretelj barracks near the town of Capljina in southern BiH became one of the cruelest camps of the Bosnian war. Prior to 1992, this vast military complex, the size of 2 football fields was a barracks & fuel storage facility for the Yugoslav People’s Army.
