We have received this very gracious letter through the post from our friends and neighbours at Rutherglen United Reformed Church, expressing condolences for the loss of Pope Francis. The Moderator of the Church of Scotland has also expressed his condolences to the Diocese🙏

As the cardinals prepare for their first vote in conclave, here are the voices of S2 pupils at Trinity High School expressing their hopes for the qualities of the new pope. Qualities include: grateful, wholesome, lighthearted, prayerful, caring, humble. Amen to that! 🙏 #Conclave2025

This Sunday 8th June we'll mark Pentecost Sunday with a celebration of all the cultures & languages of our parish. There will be a special 10am Mass at St Mark's followed by delicious food and entertainment in the hall. All are most welcome! Here are some pictures from last year.

It's been a brilliant first day at Generation Hope camp, well done everyone!

Today we have a day of celebration in honour of Blessed Carlo Acutis in our parish. The staff and pupils of St Mark's Primary were at a special Mass this morning, and this afternoon parishioners are invited to an exhibition of Eucharistic miracles at St Mark's Primary from 3-4pm.

Don't forget our Pentecost New Scots Day at St Mark's on Sunday 8th June at the 10am Mass, followed by a beautiful hot buffet and multi-cultural entertainment in the hall afterwards. Come and celebrate the many cultures of our parish! #Pentecost #pentecost2025 #newscots

Following last year's very successful event, we're delighted to be part of Praise in the Park this Sunday 15th June at 1pm in Overtoun Park. We'll join together with the other local churches to sing our favourite hymns. Feel free to bring a picnic and a fold-up chair.

Happy St Anthony's feast day to all our parishioners and friends! We celebrated in the traditional way, with beautiful lilies donated by parishioners adorning the altar and statue, and a visit from St Anthony's Primary who led the music, readings and prayers 🙏
