Nursery enjoyed celebrating numeracy day, children took part in exciting number activities including making a number hat.

TfL Citizens came in and delivered a workshop to Y6. They offered tools for safe and responsible travel on public transport - that included journey planning tips and the benefits of active travel. TfL

Year 6 were filmed by the English-Speaking Union this week as they enjoyed a lesson developing their oracy skills, following staff training from the ESU. A fantastic opportunity to showcase learning in action! The English-Speaking Union

Year 5 had an amazing day in Paris! 🇫🇷 They were welcomed by their pen pals at their school, went on a river boat and saw many landmarks including the Eiffel Tower & Notre Dame. They topped it off with a crêpe on the Eurostar—what a day! 🗼🥐

Year 6 had an exciting trip to the Science Museum's Power Up exhibition! 🎮🕹️ They explored the evolution of gaming and computing through the decades. Science Museum

Yellow Class (Y2) loved exploring food in D&T with TastEd! 🍏 They used their senses to try apples, cabbages, and citrus fruits—Pink Lady apples were the favourite! They then used adjectives to describe each one. #TastEd #PrimaryDT

Y5 students, Zainab, Beth, Luke, and Yuchen triumphed at the inter-school maths competition, winning the 2025 trophy for St Aidan’s. Huge congratulations on this outstanding achievement!

As part of our topic on minibeast, the children in nursery enjoyed singing Incy Wincy spider song, and are fascinated how the caterpillars are changing into butterflies.

Red Class (reception) recently completed a transport survey just outside our school. The children observed and recorded different types of vehicles that passed by. We found that cars were the most common seen, while motorcycles were the least.

Year 6 visited the Ben Kinsella exhibition as part of their learning about making positive choices. During the visit, they explored the real-life consequences of knife crime, heard powerful stories from victims/families and took part in an interactive workshop. The Ben Kinsella Trust

As part of Money Week, students in Years 1 to 6 took part in exciting virtual workshops focused on financial education. From making wise spending choices to exploring the history of money, the sessions offered valuable insights tailored to each age group. Young Enterprise
