The Faith in Action Team enjoyed supporting the MacMillan Coffee Afternoon, managing to resist eating all the cakes - but only just!  A great help with setting up, clearing up and of course, visiting afterwards, with their families to buy cakes too. Well done everyone.

5SS had a brilliant PE lesson with Jess Allatt this morning. We began our new learning theme ‘SYMMETRY BALANCE TRAVEL’. We explored different symmetrical & asymmetrical shapes. We can’t wait to create some sequences next lesson using the shapes we’ve developed Beyond the Physical

We have continued our ‘Symmetry Balance Travel’ learning theme in 5SS this morning. We’ve been exploring different jumps and rolls ready to put into our sequences to help us link our shapes and balances together. We just love our Monday morning PE! Beyond the Physical Jess Allatt

What a lovely Advent Workshop we had this morning with our Year 5 parents. I think the parents enjoyed it as much as their children!

Year 5's Advent worship yesterday was a wonderful, prayerful way to help them on their journey of preparation for the coming of Jesus at Christmas. 🙏🏼🕯️

On Friday we took some children to TRINITY LEEDS to sing carols, spreading seasonal cheer across the city. 🎄🎅🏽🌟 Trinity Leeds customers were particularly kind with their donations, helping the children raise an incredible £806.41p, for Zarach and St Vincent's Centre Leeds ✝️✝️

Year 5 enjoyed making their cheesy puff pastry Christmas trees. They looked and tasted delicious! 🎄🧀😋😋

5CL led the whole school in a lovely assembly/Act of Worship about Inspirational People and how to be a follower of Jesus. 🙏🏼They only had one practice so I'm very proud of them!🌟👏😊 One grandma was nearly brought to tears 💖

Bikeability last week was great! All nonriders learnt to ride, many children achieved their Level 1 and some their Level 2 'On the Road' awards.

This half term, all 5CL children have enjoyed preparing and leading collective worship in class. Each one was based around a parable and each one gave us a special message for going forth. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

We've been carrying out a lot of science investigations in 5CL over the last half term. Our results haven't always been what we've expected but we've learnt a lot and had a lot of fun doing so.

We enjoyed the glorious sunshine on our 'Big Lent Walk' today and lots of money was raised for The Good Shepherd fund and CAFOD. Well done, everyone! 👏👏

St Augustine's staff shared a lovely worship with Mark 10 Mission's Greg Finn this evening. One of the best staff meetings we've ever had.🙏🏼💖
