“The fulfillment of Christmas will be when there shall be only one family united in perfect love and joy in the Father’s house. Until then, we continue to anticipate that moment surrounded by our loved ones and those memories that continue to bring them close to our hearts.” -

Merry #Christmas2024! May our homeless brothers and sisters be safe during these cold days of winter and find permanent housing through our advocacy efforts. And for our incarcerated brothers and sisters: May they not be forgotten by their families, friends and loved ones.

#Feast #HolyFamily of Jesus, Mary and Joseph. In family, you are either growing closer or drifting apart. Today's psalm says: Blessed are they who dwell in your house, O Lord. We can add: Blessed are families who, like Mary and Joseph, make sure that Christ is dwelling in theirs!

#Solemnity #MaryMotherofGod This extraordinary title highlights the extraordinary identity of Mary’s Son. Jesus Christ and God are One. As Mary said “Yes” to God’s invitation to share in His work of salvation, God invites us to place ourselves at his service. Will you let Him?

Even in the darkest nights, a star shines. It is the star of Jesus, who comes to care for our fragile humanity. Let us set out towards Him. Let us not give apathy and resignation the power to trap us in the sadness of a flat life. #ChristmasSeason

#TheBaptismofTheLord When you and I were baptized, God adopted us and also called us his children. Let us embrace this privileged identity, and honor our responsibility to grow the family of God by obeying Christ’s Great Commission: “Go to every nation and make disciples…”

We pray for the President and Vice President-Elect. As they raise their right hand to God, may they do so with a keen awareness of the gravity of the Oath they swear and the life-and-death consequences of the choices, consequences measured not only in time, but in eternity. Amen.
