🌻 Mental Health Awareness Week may have been in May, but from small seeds, great things grow - evidenced by the Sunflower challenge our Therapeutic team ran for our homes! Young people were encouraged to nurture their seedlings, whilst taking time outside for themselves too 🌻

☀️Recently a young person in our care made great memories on a daytrip to the Isle of Wight. Taking the ferry was a new experience and they thoroughly enjoyed the journey, food & sights. A great example of positive experiences we help make happen for those we support! ☀️

We invest in training for our staff so that they can achieve their best in supporting children and young people in their care. We also invest in their individual motivations and are proud to run a fund annually that staff can apply for to help them on their journey.

✨Today is #WorldYouthSkillsDay! At St Christopher's, we are enormously proud of the young people in our care that we have helped via our UK Get Into Work service - which supports them to grow in confidence and prospects regarding employment opportunities.✨

🍔Summer is official here (sort of), and so each of our homes are celebrating with their young people and making happy memories with their annual BBQ get-togethers. Enjoying each other's company and cooking as a team. Delicious! 🌞
