Wow! Take a look at Reception’s fantastic photography skills. We have used the zoom function and learnt how to delete pictures that didn’t quite turn out well. #StGerardsComputing 📸

Well done to some of our Year 5 and 6 children who had a fantastic day at Halton Farnworth Hornets Rugby Club. They learned the rules of the game and worked on skills and tactics, before playing in a mini tournament. Amazing teamwork and sportsmanship. 👏😀 #StGerardsPE 🏉

At the beginning of May in our #StGerardsScience and #StGerardsOutdoorLearning session, Class 2 planted spring onion bulbs hoping they would grow. We have been watering them and looking after them for the past month and today we got to harvest and taste them.

Class 5 heard the gospel from Matthew. We heard how Simon recognises Jesus as the son of God and how Jesus gives Simon a new name Peter. Jesus tells Peter that he will build his church on him. We reflected on how we can show strength like Simon Peter. #StGerardsPrayerandLiturgy

Y2 have begun to think about their transition up to Y3. We reflected on Colossians 3:23. We thought about how we can work heartily, and know that our best is ALWAYS good enough! #StGerardsPrayerandLiturgy 🙏🏻💜

During RE the children have created messages of their own to replicate the great work of Saint Peter and Saint Paul, in sharing the great work of Jesus. They have talked about his qualities and how he would want us to live our lives #StGerardsRE #StGerardsEYFS
