Year 4 visited the Allen Park Cultivating Community (APCC) for the opening of their community allotment. The downpour only added to the excitement! The the children got busy gardening, but also learnt about permaculture principles: Earth care, people care and fair share.

We were lucky to have another careers assembly, led by Rachel Ajagbonna telling us all about her job working at Cambridge University supporting children to access the university. We also heard the story book ‘Last Stop On Market Street’ which is a lovely story about inclusivity.

Yesterday was a really important day for Diocese of St Albans Multi-Academy Trust - a huge thank you to our interviewers. Also a huge thank you to everyone that applied for our central vacancies - whether successful or not - we were delighted so many high quality leaders put themselves forwards 👍

We’ve been really lucky to have such varied jobs for our career assemblies so far. A big thank you to Edward Grint for a wonderful assembly about life as an opera singer. We were all very impressed with the films you have also sung in! You have definitely inspired the children.
