Gala Class had a visit from ‘FAB first aid’ today and learnt lots about how to look after people who are unwell. They were very good at practising CPR and enjoyed learning the rhyme.
Gala class have been having fun in their last few days in Reception. They achieved their ‘secret student’ marbles so enjoyed an ice lolly this afternoon and a watch of a Julia Donaldson animated story. They voted for Stick Man, a Christmas story, even though it is summer! 😁
Thank you to all those that came to support our first Macmillan Coffee morning. A great time was had by all eating delicious cakes donated, drinking coffee and raising money for a very worthy cause.
Gala class have enjoyed listening to Goldilocks and the three bears, sequencing the pictures and retelling the story. We also began to talk about simple maps and had fun making a big map on the floor.

Gala class have been working together to build houses for the 3 bears using various construction. Great team work! They have also enjoyed making their own story maps.
Year 3 enjoyed their visit from Maidstone Museum today. They were excited to hold Stone Age artefacts, some of which were over 8,000 years old. We thought our Stone Age names were great too!
Gala class have been learning about the importance of harvest this week, including naming and sorting various foods. Today we had fun experimenting with printing, using a selection of fruit and vegetables.
