We had a lovely time visiting the children of Hornsby House School on Friday. There were so many brilliant voices! We look forward to welcoming some of them at our community youth choirs on Thursday evenings - stlukesyouthchoirs.com

3rd Saturday of inspections. Today it’s #batterseadeanery St Luke's Battersea looking splendid in the spring sunshine. Working with Churchwardens is one of the greatest privileges of the life of an Archdeacon. Today is a day to celebrate all they are and do.

We've checked figures and can now confirm we've had 700 individuals (including 125 women) stayed at a GD shelter for at least one night this winter (ave stay was 28 days). In total, we provided 19,281 sleeping spaces, up 22% from last winter. TY to all partners and volunteers.

I’m pondering whether all these valiant attempts to livestream worship from multiple churches round country isn’t a waste of time. Better for one church to do it brilliantly? More powerful for the whole church to worship and pray together en masse? Thoughts?

Brilliant responses to this so far, thank you for them. Most understandably focused on what existing congregations need. Let me broaden this out and ask, what might the other 98% - those who don't go to church - be looking for in a time of national crisis?
