Year 5 children attended a fantastic ‘Orchestra Day’ hosted by The Manchester Grammar School Music Department, where they joined MGS students, local primary schools, and professional musicians for a day of inspiring music-making —forming one large, collaborative orchestra!

We have been learning about 'Windrush' from Rev. Caroline Wickens from Whalley Range Methodist Church. We helped make the buntings to decorate the church for their upcoming Windrush celebrations to understand our school value 'Unity' and helping others in the community.

Year 6 enjoyed virtual reality sessions delivered in school. They immersed themselves into different biomes such as desert and rainforest, observing native animals and plants and listened to sounds that you would encounter in those places. We all had a great time!

Year 2 had a Tudor-ific trip to Ordsall Hall to learn about life for the rich and the poor during Tudor times. Their behaviour was impeccable and we learned so much!
