Year 3 loved reading their Finding Nemo narrative to Reception yesterday. What a treat for the Reception children to hear such great description, action and speech as they were read to by older children. Well done Year 3!

Catherine Cawthorne visited Reception and KS1 to read her new book ‘Oh No Flo!’ It’s all about a confused sheep dog who muddles up her farm jobs! The children then created their own pet and a muddled up job like hoovering the plates; washing up the toilet and cooking the cat!

Year 2 had a great time at Kingston Mosque. We enjoyed learning about how Muslims pray and writing letters from the Arabic alphabet as well as dressing up and acting out ‘Wudu’. #KingstonMosque #RE #Islam

Year 3 were grateful for our visits to the Shree Ghanapathy Temple, Wimbledon, this week. We learned many interesting facts about Hindu worship and we were invited to observe the Mandir during a Pooja.

Year 6 have been taking inspiration from the work of Lucy Arnold to create their own observational drawings of beetles, butterflies and bees. #lucyarnold #cornerstoneseducation
