This morning Reception have visited our parish church, St Patrick’s. A wonderful learning experience.

Year 1 had a lovely time, visiting Abbey House museum.

Year 2 had an amazing time this morning. We were so lucky to see so many animals.🐓🐐🐑

Mini Vinnies visited the SVP this week and learnt about the wonderful work they do for the community. They also made up food parcels with our food donations.

What an exciting time Reception had with Ian’s Mobile Farm! The children loved learning all about the animals & wrote beautiful recounts after.

CULTURE DAY at St Patrick’s Church today was a huge success! Using the school field of St Patrick’s primary, everyone came together to celebrate their culture and heritage by sharing their wonderful food, dress and fabulous dancing! Fabulous atmosphere and such amazing generosity

What an exciting morning in reception. Our eggs have arrived!! The children can’t wait to see them hatch and grow over the next few days! 🐣

Year 4 enjoyed a visit from Northern Ballet this morning, learning all about the story of Merlin, to launch the Northern Ballet’s RISE project starting in September!

Year 3 have had a lovely morning on their pilgrimage to Leeds Cathedral ✝️⛪️

This afternoon Year 3 have been investigating how friction affects how far a car can travel on different surfaces!🚗🚙

In the Jubilee Year of Hope our Reception children had a very special and reverent Pilgrimage to St. Anne’s Cathedral.

Outdoor maths! We have been finding different angles in nature this morning!🌿🌳🌱

In reception today we have made our own miniature steam strain and we did some fantastic pieces of writing about how we made it!
