11 of our KS1 children had a great time at Tuesday's KS1 Multi Skills Event North Kirklees School Sport Partnership They experienced a range of different sports and enjoyed working hard as part of a team!

Huge effort from our Year 6 Spen Valley Boys Team who battled hard in their quarter final against Crossley Fields. A brilliant journey throughout the competition and a fantastic group of boys to accompany. Huge thanks to Mr Hartley and Mr Fenton for all your support ⚽️

A great afternoon with Batley Ninjas Rounders Club and North Kirklees School Sport Partnership for our some of our Year 5/6 girls. They developed their batting and fielding skills by completing different activities as a group. Well done girls!

Huge well done to our Year 4/5 representatives in the Fishers 5 Tag Rugby Competition at SJF. The children were resilient throughout! The boys were unbeaten and crowned champions! The girls came a close 2nd and were involved in some very tight games! stjohnfisher 🏉📷🌟

A brilliant afternoon at the PSC Boys Football Tournament stjohnfisher. 16 boys from UKS2 battled admirably in a tough completion ⚽️St Pats A came so incredibly close in the final finishing 2nd and St Pats B were fantastic and came 4th. Such a pleasure to accompany the boys!

Well done to our KS2 girls football team who competed in the The Blessed Peter Snow Catholic Academy Trust finals today. They competed valiantly in the semi final against Holy Spirit losing 1-0. Another tense play-off match against St Mary’s finished 1-0. The girls efforts this year have been commendable 👏

Well done to our Y5 boys football team who competed in the The Blessed Peter Snow Catholic Academy Trust finals. They worked hard in a tough semi final against eventual champions St Mary’s. Another tense play off against Holy Spirit finished a draw and the boys lost out in a penalty shoot out. Brilliant effort 👏
