Our legendary indoor soccer league has returned! Following previous tournaments where our pupils raised over €2,000 for local animal welfare charities, pupils from 4th, 5th and 6th class will battle it out for two more weeks in the World Cup in aid of #GalwayCatRescue 🐱⚽️

Our world cup semi-finalists were revealed today following an electrifying tournament over the past month and two exciting penalty shootouts in the final rounds⚽️The tournament raised €200 for #GalwayCatRescue. Belgium vs France will take place next week🌍🏆

3rd class and 5th class had an amazing time at @FreshFilmFestival today! After entering the competition for the first time, the pupils got to watch two of their own movies on the big screen in an audience with hundreds of other young filmmakers from schools all over Ireland🎬📽

A great day of sport as our girls competed in the FAI Primary School 5's at Mervue today. The girls now progress to the finals on May 5th. The team also make history as the first girls sports team to represent the school since St Pat's became a co-educational school!

*PLANT SALE!*Our entrepreneurs in 5th class have been busy in the garden and their organically grown flowers and vegetables are now ready for their new homes. A plant sale will take place tomorrow (Friday 21st) at our school gate between 1.30 and 3pm! Biodiversity in Schools

These bees, which were spotted in our school garden, are loving our No Mow May campaign! The more dandelions there are, the better, especially early in the time of year when emerging bumblebee queens need food to survive on as they search for places to build their nests🐝

Great excitement is brewing in St. Pat's as we prepare for our very first Battle of the Bands competition on June 22nd! Over 70 of our current pupils have had guitar and ukulele lessons in the school so we expect to see some great talent on the day 🎸🎤🎹

Rehearsals are complete for our Galway Uke Fest performance in an Taibhearc this Saturday at 5pm! The children have had a great time working with Music Generation Galway City and Tracy Bruen, who has given them excellent vocal coaching. Tickets: galwayukefest.com

Our 4th class and 6th Class ‘Ice-Elation: Antarctica’ documentary won 1st place in the Best Documentary category at the Wicked Wales International Youth Film Festival Awards, which took place live on YouTube on Sunday afternoon!

Our school band and choir will be performing outside Brown Thomas on William Street this Friday (15th) between 1 and 2pm! Featuring electric guitars, piano, drums and a wide range of Christmas hits, this is a show not to be missed! The concert will be in aid of our sensory room
