1/3 Very much appreciate the sentiment here but this tweet is misleading. As far as I can tell, an EIP return is not really a thing, & whether you get a debit card or a check seems to be up to the IRS. Also, income—not housing status—is the qualifying factor for the stimulus $.

I worked at Clorox from 2006-2011. Security guards have always escorted employees to BART & parking garages. I lived near the office and would get a ride home. This ain’t new & they should be ashamed acting like this is a new practice.

UC Police, Berkeley rashly drove into a closed street where community activists, students, and children were gathered to paint a street mural for #PeoplesPark. Officers were responding to a call that APEX security guards were being "surrounded by people." But no one had threathen them.
