With the nice weather back, it's a great time to visit the beach in the lovely sunshine! Mr. Cantwell's 3rd Class made some fab artwork for the beach with these super pieces... Well done to everyone!

Miss Palmer's Junior Infants were on their school tour recently and had a blast! The boys met lots of animals on the farm and got to feed them too - and then had some play time with their friends! What a brilliant day! 🤩

1/3 Mr. Russell's 5th Class were working with the theme of "Siopadóireacht" (shopping!) in Irish a few weeks ago and they went down town, took some photos and came back to school and wrote a little comic about a day's shopping. Super work from the boys - well done!

We held "Heritage Week" at the start of June! Boys in all classes took part in lots of different activities as we celebrated the many different cultures, customs and foods of our school community. 1/3

The highlight of the week was "Tastes Of The World" - Mrs. Cosgrave and boys from our school's Diversity Committee welcomed classes to the hall where foods from many different countries were discussed and then sampled. Fabulous! 2/3

Thanks to everyone who sent in traditional food from their countries, to the boys on the committee for their enthusiasm and helpfulness and, of course, to Mrs. Cosgrave for all her hard work and effort in making the week so special! 3/3

The boys in The Hub went to Aldi yesterday to get ingredients for baking. The boys made a list, ticked off items as they got them & then went to the cash self check out and pay. The boys can’t wait to put them to use in baking and show us all the finished product. We can't wait!

Mr. Cantwell's and Miss Flavin's 3rd Classes enjoyed a super school tour in the Watershed in Kilkenny last week... The boys participated in a range of different activities - with the water slide being the highlight we're told! A great day was had by all - well done everyone!

Miss Palmer's Junior Infants had a fab time in the secret garden last Friday - with some special guests! The boys were joined by their Teddy Bears for a very special Teddy Bear's Picnic! The sun was shining and everyone enjoyed it. Well done to all! 🤩🤩🤩

Mrs. Breen's Senior Infants visited the Busy Barn Farm on Friday on their school tour! The boys were blessed with lovely, warm sunshine and had a great day! Well done all! 🤩🤩🤩

Miss Byrne's 2nd Class enjoyed some ice lollies in our outdoor classroom last week after completing 6 weeks of swimming! 🏊‍♂️😊 Well done to all the boys!

U13 Gaelic Football and Hurling members enjoyed their medal presentation last Thursday. The weather was so good that they enjoyed an ice cream and a chat in the garden to celebrate. The boys had a great year & won medals in both competitions. Well done to all these super boys!
