We are returning to the bargaining table today for a three hour session with The New York Times management. We are eager to receive a counter on wages and working hours.
Today Hannah Yang, The New York Times Chief Growth Officer, sent out a bargaining “update” to our members, explaining that ‘While this may not be realized, currently, compensation is not and has never been guaranteed for unit members.’

We STILL stand with our New York Times Tech Guild siblings in their fight for a contract with just cause protections, fair/equitable wages and the right to maintain the remote work standards they've always had.
