The next entry in my ongoing series, Faces I Can’t Resist. (I work in an animal hospital and I love your babies.) Good afternoon sweetie pie. I will be picking you up at every opportunity, thank you very much.

I cannot get over how realistically the Louis Vuitton store on 57th Street has been made over to look like a giant stack of Louis Vuitton luggage. It looks like they used the exact same materials to create this.

I’ve interviewed all sorts of people for my book. At our first meeting, ex-mob hitman John Alite said, “You tell me any part of any state, any city, any city in any country, I can get you killed there.” Seeing my horrified look, he quickly clarified, “When I was in the life.”

I’m on another podcast! The 286 Project with Chris Akers! I thought I picked a screenshot where I look serious, but I think I might look annoyed. I was not. bit.ly/442r3lx

A detail from a Suellen Rocca painting I was looking at recently. How could I ever leave New York City? I’m within walking distance of great art all the time. Reminders:  Amy Sherald at the Whitney, Superfine at the Met.

Me & my voids (Bali and Bodhi) on the couch. Bodhi has bald patches which I’d successfully treated by changing his food to the Royal Canin Selected Protein Pea & Rabbit & putting him on the best & most expensive probiotic money can buy! But it’s back. I’ve reached out to his vet.

The next entry in my ongoing series, Faces I Can’t Resist. (I work in an animal hospital and I love your babies.). One of the many great things about pets is every day, coming home to them. Home is so much better with them in it.

1981. Shirley Chisholm denounced Reagan’s cutbacks as “radical and severe.” They “take less from those who can afford to give more, and give less to those who need more…It is the most extraordinary attempt by any president in modern times to redistribute income in this country.”
