Today’s verdict brings accountability in the senseless ambush killing of Sgt. Eric Mueller. We stand with the OPPA (OPP Association), the Mueller family, and all officers who risk everything to keep our communities safe. His service and sacrifice will never be forgotten. #HeroesInLife

#VanRE Vancouver is world-renowned. However, a new ranking shows the city is slipping. In 2025, Vancouver dropped 17 places to land in 37th place, with rankings dipping in 3 categories: 53rd in economics, 52nd in human capital, & 186th in quality of life. share.google/?link=https://…

Issues there long before fentanyl; heroin, cocaine, crystal meth, alcohol etc. All with devastating impact/loss of lives. Common denominator-not enough emphasis on prevention/education, no access 2 on demand counselling, treatment & other supports & other systemic shortcomings.

BC does not know how many people are using unwitnessed safe supply drugs, three months after promising to end the practice to reduce diversion into the hands of organized crime. It’s scrambling to figure out a way to track it. My latest in The Orca theorca.ca/commentary/rob…

School Resource Officers play a vital role in keeping students and staff safe, building trust, and strengthening community relationships. Proud to see this commitment to safer learning environments. 👏 #SafeSchools #SROs #PublicSafety

Positive relationships start early. When School Resource Officers engage with students in meaningful, everyday ways, it builds trust, breaks barriers, and fosters safety. It’s not just presence, it’s connection. #Londonpoliceservice #youngpeople

Yet another awful incident involving a repeat offender in #Vancouver. Must be taxing on the Vancouver Police. Not its job to keep criminals in custody. Sean Fraser, the province needs help. dailyhive.com/vancouver/teen…

The man accused of shooting at officers in Prince George during a police pursuit was involved in another very dangerous police pursuit in 2009 in Chilliwack. Police put their lives on the line for our province every day. I’m glad the RCMP officers involved were able to safely

Annemarie Ward 💜 Drug poisoning in British Columbia is now the leading cause of death among youth Scotland and BC illustrate the importance of public policies focused on prevention and promoting recovery Further investment in the status quo in both jurisdictions appears ill advised
