These authors are busy revising and editing their own versions of the Stone Soup folktale. They are so invested in this big writing project!

Mrs. Stanhope Susan Menel So much great research with first graders today, learning about animals who live everywhere except Antarctica. I love it when kids say, “I can’t wait to continue my research!”

These dolphins had the best time sharing their cardboard creations and exploring others at our cardboard challenge day of play! They practiced using their imaginations, planning carefully, growing determination and flexibility, and collaborating with their teams. Wow!

Winter Wonderland and cozy pajama day in January…what a special day to welcome 2023 at Dryden! This group is amazing and we have so much wonderful learning ahead of us to enjoy together!

Global Day of Play 2023 was a FUN day of learning from each other, trying new things, growing patience, next level creativity, problem-solving through glitches or conflicts, and connecting with friends!

Our first 5-day week was a success! These first and second graders are amazing!

These scientists eagerly dissected their owl pellets as they studied the bones inside to identify the owl’s prey. Science is so cool!

Our 1st time making bracelets was a success! I observed planning, fine motor skills, patterning, letter identification, direction following, managing frustration when we dropped our project. Lots of skills in this crafty project. Mrs. Stanhope
