Flashback Friday to Galactic at Bonnaroo playing "Heart of Steel" with Corey Glover. I can't believe this was 11 years ago! We toured all over with Corey for a while. This was a super fun period. Did anyone see us live with Corey?

Fun throwback to Galactic with Chali 2na from Bonnaroo 2008. We had been on tour with Chali as our special guest for a while at this point. Chali got his own slot at B-roo and asked us if we would back him up. Of course, we said yes!

It can be a challenge to come up with creative fills in a shuffle context. A simple hand to hand 5 stroke roll can work as an effective fill in a shuffle. Notice that this technically starts with the left hand on beat 1 but I think of it as starting on the & of beat 4.
