🇺🇦The Polish-Ukrainian borders remain open.9 reception points have opened in Poland’s eastern regions. The Ukrainian Foreign Min. estimates that over 100 thousand Ukrainians have already left their homes. Romania, Slovakia, Hungary and Moldavia have also prepared for reception.

Some people wonder whether I am being alarmist when I suggest that Russia may test EU and NATO's resolve directly. My answer is (a) that many people discounted the possibility that Putin would invade a country the size of France, that he wasn't simply venting. 🧵1/
