Yesterday I enjoyeded visiting ISACA Global where Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi took part in a discussion of cybersecurity, the rapid evolution of AI, CMMI 3.0 and more. I also caught up with Elmhurst Alderwoman Emily Bastedo and appreciated the warm welcome from everyone!

Over 1200 warm hearts joined together on this cold day to honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and his legacy. The ceremony, speeches, unity and music were heartfelt and full of joy, and it was great to see people come together from all over Illinois to honor him. #MLKDay

On Friday I attended the DuPage County Legislative Breakfast, which brought together members of the DuPage County Board and legislators. Chair Conroy shared the County Board’s legislative priorities and a capital improvement plan for the coming year. #DuPage

Today we join billions of people around the world in celebrating the Lunar New Year! The year of the dragon represents good luck, justice, and prosperity.

This week we met with state legislators to educate about our lifesaving legislation developing Cardiac Emergency Response Plans (CERPs) in schools. We also trained nearly 40 elected officials in the lifesaving skills of Hands-Only CPR as part of our National of Lifesavers!

It was a joy to connect with Hinsdale high school students Levi and Kaili this week and to give them a tour of the floor of the House of Representatives, answer questions, and share our work. We had a great visit!

Today, advocates affected by dementia across my district and Illinois have joined ALZ Illinois Advocacy’s Day of Action to make their voices heard. I am proud to be a leader in the fight to #ENDALZ as we work together to make our state dementia capable. #AlzILAdvocacy
