As the long three-day Memorial Day weekend approaches, local law enforcement officers would like to remind the community to celebrate responsibly. Officers from all jurisdictions in Centre County will be out to help everyone stay safe. Happy Memorial Day!

The State College Municipal Building will be closed on Monday, May 26, 2025, in observance of Memorial Day. Normal business hours will resume on Tuesday, May 27, 2025.

There will be no bulk or brush collection on Monday, May 26, 2025. Refuse collection will proceed as scheduled for the remainder of the week.

The Borough of State College Parking Department will be lifting the “No Parking 2 A.M. to 6 A.M.” All restrictions will go back into place at 6:00 A.M. on Monday, May 26th, 2025.
