It was an honor to speak at the annual meeting of National Lieutenant Governors Association (NLGA), hosted by Nevada Lieutenant Governor Stavros Anthony in Lake Tahoe. Lieutenant Governors are crucial in serving their states, and I was proud to partner with them to enhance our collective impact.

First day of a successful annual NLGA meeting ended with a dinner at the Edgewood Tahoe Resort. With a beautiful backdrop, the RSCVA hosted a great evening with local birds of prey. Thanks to RSCVA CEO Mike Larragueta and Rick Murdock for generously sponsoring a fantastic event.

At the NLGA annual meeting in Lake Tahoe, we were delighted to present the Boys and Girls Club of Western Nevada with 100 STEM-related kits to provide to their students. A great service project from America’s lieutenant governors.

At today’s NLGA annual meeting, it was great to hear from Dan Morgan, CEO of the Builders Association of Northern Nevada. Dan spoke to lieutenant governors with insights into addressing housing shortages, particularly in the West where we have challenges with federal land needs.

Introducing lieutenant governors to forest fire mitigation projects in the Lake Tahoe Basin, with partnerships between local fire districts, the Tahoe Fund, TRPA, and Burnbot. This innovative technology and collaboration make Nevada a model for successful fire mitigation.

Wrapping up a successful National Lieutenant Governor Association Annual Meeting in Lake Tahoe, where I was able to showcase the great state of Nevada. Thank you to my fellow Lieutenant Governor’s for attending and participating in important discussions.

Excellent discussion on education today in the Senate Hall of the Hellenic Parliament in Athens, Greece to include the President of the American College of Greece and Chairman of the Plato Academy Charter Schools.

Received a briefing from the Greece Ministry of Defense and several generals in Athens. Honored to exchange challenge coins and talk about the great partnership between Nevada and our great military installations.
