Really interesting and moving webinar from SteWeatherhead on his NeuroTriage C.I.C. work. Lots of powerful personal stories from people who have fallen through the cracks of services designed to support them. Truly inspiring work which captures the values of clinical psychology.

I love this quote, "We have to start asking how can my service help, not which service is responsible for this?"

I also appreciated the focus on finding meaningful connections, in this instance through shared enjoyment of Motown (so called Motown therapy)

Very interesting webinar today on the need for neuropsychological support for homeless people from SteWeatherhead. We need to do more to bridge the gap between service provision and these hard-to-reach populations in need...

So... I'm hearing this a lot atm and wanna say that it ain't for White therapists to challange this position. We need to step aside and enable. I'm not gonna Whitesplain why, if you don't know, there's plenty of ways to find out.

Genuine question: Anyone know of any mindfulness grounding audio / YouTube tracks that have working class language and accents? Don't want to start a debate about class here. It's a genuine request and if it irritates you, please ignore.

Genuinely impressed by how Liverpool as a city and Liverpool City Council is trying to manage homelessness. It isn't perfect, but the commitment is there. Including today's webinar focussed on making sure we grow form the learning from covid lockdown.
