A benefit of working night shift devoschildrens is the monthly Project Night Lights event... members of the community and first responders surround the hospital with lights to say goodnight to the kids!!

Interesting and not surprising. What other errors do these interruptions cause? When we tracked the number of calls to our PICU charge phone they were often more than 200 in a 12 hour shift!

We hold on to each other — even if with elbows or sanitized hands or kind words passed across the distance in the dark.
