normalize saying “i don’t think we have the kind of relationship that should make you comfortable enough to say that to me” when someone tries to get too familiar.

Stop letting people consume you. They didn’t call? Go to sleep. They didn’t message you? Don’t text them either. They didn’t make an effort? Match their energy. Never let your happiness depend on anyone.

Telling me to do something when I’m already in the middle of doing it

everybody talks about cutting people off, but nobody really talks about the grief that comes with having to stand firm on that decision, knowing it’s not what you wanted but what was necessary for your well being

“Don’t reply fast”, “don’t show you care”, “don’t always be available so they can miss you”. I’m grown, if I have to play these type of games for someone to take me seriously, then I’m no longer interested.
