Ridiculous that a certain charity won’t accept furniture donations due to them ‘requiring assembly’ - how the hell do you think they got it in the house in the first place. The self employed collection team though were useful and said of 2 other charities that would collect

Reminder: Your best ideas don't come from working non-stop. The best ideas come when you take a shower, go for a walk, sleep, etc. Rest is not the opposite of work. It's an integral piece of great work.

I’d love to see a future where research-enabling staff can pursue either a seniority track (going broader) or a specialism track (going deeper). Too often we lose our experts to general management, or they are stuck unrewarded halfway down the pay spine. 3/3
