Labour too often seem to consider it a success if no-one notices their interviews. The insurgent parties only consider it a success if people do. The former just no longer cuts it in the attention economy.

Speechless RIP

We’re heartbroken to hear of Daniel Naroditsky’s passing. His brilliance, kindness, and love for the game touched so many in the chess world. Our thoughts are with his family, friends, and all who were inspired by him.

It's odd to see Johnson back on TV. He feels a figure as remote as Stanley Baldwin or Ramsay MacDonald. Completely defunct as a politician. Forever to be labelled the worst PM of all time. What does he do with the rest of his life? More terrible books. Maybe an ignored Substack?
