Some fossils come from unexpected places. This ammonite cast was found in a wall at Albertson Hall on the Fort Hays State University campus. The original block of limestone came from the Greenhorn Formation here in Kansas. Keep an eye out for other fossils stuck in walls! #FossilFriday
