STEVIE’S SCOOP: Keep an eye out for flooded roadways on your way home from work! Some of these storms could be slow-moving, which will increase the threat of widespread flash flooding between 3-8 PM. Stay safe! ⛈️

My Stormy girl knows her safe place (the hallway). Though her name is Stormy, she’s anything but a fan of actual storms ⛈️ Cats are sensitive to changes in barometric pressure and can hear low-frequency sounds like distant thunder long before we can! She’s a great FUR-caster 🐱

We saw some serious soakers yesterday! 🌧️ Joppatowne and surrounding areas saw about 5” of rain! Our northern areas were hit the hardest as those storms parked themselves to the north of the Inner Harbor. A little under 6” of rain was measured in July at BWI!

In addition to #Dexter, I’m keeping a close eye on two tropical waves that have a decent chance of developing over the next several days. The next name up on the list is #Erin!

Good morning! A plume of wildfire smoke continues to filter into the area thanks to onshore winds. The air quality will be in the upper Moderate category today. Folks who are super sensitive to pollution should limit time outside!
