Due to some time travelling backdating of the allotment rule changes this week by St Helens Borough Council ALL 48 councillors were sent an email yesterday regarding our concerns. Hopefully, one or more can assist and help resolve this situation. @davidebaines?

It was good to hear St.Helens Mind on BBC radio Merseyside this morning talking to Paul Salt about the therapeutic benefits of their allotment garden at Cabbage Hall allotments.

What a fab day we had at the allotment! Thank you so much to all our visitors, including Mayor Cllr Sue Murphy and Cllr Michelle Sweeney. Huge thanks to the lovely allotment group and Peter the allotment lead for making it all happen.

It might be cloudy, but there's a sunny welcome at our allotment each Thursday, from 10.30am - 3.00pm. WA10 6QH, look for the metal gates at the end of the cul de sac & we are to the right. Everyone is welcome to enjoy a bit of 'you' time, have a brew & a chat, it's so relaxing.

We have a new weekly communal walk and talk group starting on Thursday 23rd September at 12pm, starting from Sexton Avenue Community Allotment Garden (Inman Avenue, Parr, WA9 2QS) going to Havannah Flashes/ Sankey Canal. A huge Thank You to Millennium Centre for the use of their meeting room last Wednesday. It was a huge help in getting representatives from most of the borough's allotment sites in one room again.
