The EU - UK deal is welcome, but overly cautious. Without at least rejoining the single market we won’t turn the corner on the 4 to 5 percent of GDP (and the corresponding £40billion lost tax revenue every year - think about what a difference that would make!) caused by Brexit.

True free trade without political integration does not exist anywhere in the world. You have to choose your levels of barriers and integration. Nine years post referendum you'd have hoped our politics would reflect that.
