I loved every minute of last night‘s concert The Glasshouse International Centre for Music with past pupil Paul Edis and his superb band. In spite of his terrible jokes, a good evening was had by all.

Mozart b otd 1756! What a genius; for him, creating great music seems to have been as natural as conversing in speech. His music has everything: tragedy, comedy, profundity, charm, brilliance, intense drama - but always clothed in beauty. His music makes our world a better place!

I am really looking forward to this evening’s concert given by ⁦@EXAUDIensemble⁩ at Elvet Methodist Church, featuring new compositions by our Year 13 A Level music students.

We loved our fabulous workshop this afternoon. The pupils were singing and dancing, under the infectious enthusiasm of Aga Serugo-Lugo. Thank you. And thank you to Durham Music for organising this.
