We're getting dressed up and ready for our exhibition Feeding the Nation: Fighting Without Flying, from Saturday 24 May. And *yes* that really is a genuine 1940 Women's Land Army macintosh, perfect for keeping out the Essex drizzle when we were #Feedingthenation as a WW2 farm!

The integrated aerial defence scheme developed to oppose the Gotha raids formed the basis of that used again in 1940 when the Luftwaffe began raiding Britain in WW2. Read all about it here!
