Today we have received the confirmation that our society - The Upper Gastrointestinal Surgical Society (TUGSS) is now a registered charity (approved by the Charity Commission for England and Wales).

We began this community with fewer than 10 individuals three years ago, and now we've expanded to include over 4,500+ members from all corners of the globe. Thank you.

Our community was established in 2020 (TUGSS), and by 2023, we had achieved Charity status under the UK Government. Today, Annals of Surgery published our first international study, analyzing data from 21,706 surgical patients across 57 countries. journals.lww.com/annalsofsurger…
