Thrilled to share our work published in Nature Materials . Here, we show how controlling exciton-phonon interactions drives exciton-polaron formation and subsequent carrier cooling in rigid DJ-type 2D perovskites at room temperature. nature.com/articles/s4156…

Thank you Shaastra Magazine, IIT Madras and Rekha Dixit for covering our research.

Thanks, J. Am. Chem. Soc., for highlighting our work as a front cover. Great collaboration with Anoop QLiMS Group and David.Congratulations to all coauthors Sunil Subha Biswas. UMAR RASHID Kavya S Mony SiMS Lab. Thanks to SERB IISc Bangalore DSTIndia. ACS for Authors

A really unexpected but special prize form Solid State and Structural Chemistry Unit on Unit day. Thank you for using one of the IISc Main Building pictures I clicked, for the unit day booklet.

1 / 1 It's a great pride for Physics, IISc IISc Bangalore that Nandana Bhattacharya Nandana Bhattacharya, a PMRF fellow, working in Prof. Srimanta Middey’s Srimanta Middey group was recently awarded with the sessional Best Poster Award at MRS Spring Meeting 2025 #S25MRS, held in Seattle.

Here, we show the dynamic control of a photoisomerization reaction triggered by light-matter state. One can speed up or slow down a photochemical process by strong coupling...Department of Chemical Sciences IISER Mohali IISER Mohali nature.com/articles/s4200…

Check out our recent publication in Angewandte Chemie onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/an… Here, we observe the effect of VSC on the excited state proton transfer (ESPT) process. Interestingly, strong coupling to the -OH stretching vibration enhances the RO⁻ emission quantum yield and ESPT rate.
