On this #InternationalDayofForests I thank @cailadd & GCRF Living Deltas Hub for being instrumental in kindling an interest in #mangroves in me. Fortunate to get opportunities to visit the Indian #Sundarban time and again for #fieldwork and learn something new about these natural sentries

What a day of Focus Group Discussions in the Indian #Sundarbans has done to Tarun Bisht He desperately needed that cup of tea and a walking stick 😂 Always fun to have GCRF Living Deltas Hub members with us in the #delta

Wishes fulfilled after more than 2 years. Having Andy Large and Dr Andrew Henderson 💙 doing the honour of cutting a GCRF Living Deltas Hub cake to celebrate emerging stronger after overcoming challenges in the past 2 years. Fortunate for such #leaders & #teamwork 😀 Libby Wood you were missed

Thank you Katharine Vincent @katharinevincent.bsky.social for your insightful talk which helped us draw similarities across regions and strengthen our understanding of systemic and cascading risks with evidence.

Here is a brilliant example of #sciencecommunication where the apparently #complex concept of #Risk has been elucidated using an animated explainer video. Kudos to the UN University - EHS communications team! 👏

Finally in the Indian #Sundarbans with @cailadd and revisiting our mini-buoy field sites with #mehendi stained hands of #mangrove patterns. Thank you GCRF Living Deltas Hub for the opportunity and friends ❤️

Enamoured by the #mangroves in Indian #Sundarban ❤️ @Balke_T we hope you would be proud of us identifying and practicing the names (scientific and local) of the mangroves GCRF Living Deltas Hub enjoying #research making #memories out of #experiences with #friends
