Want your QI project to actually survive 6 months? Pick measures that Epic can pull for you. #SlicerDicer is a great tool! Not ones you need to extract manually from 137 charts/month. Don’t chase perfect metrics. Chase sustainable ones. #QIEssentials #MedTwitter #EPIC

We used to drive to the airport at night. I was in my twenties—exhausted from med school classes / library and hospital rounds, but still full of hope. The airport was close, and it felt like the edge of the world. We’d sit for hours, watching planes take off, engines roaring

QI is NOT about collecting data. It’s NOT about the past. Yes, look back to learn - but QI is about the future. Success = continuous change + iteration. You get there by: 🔹 Talking to stakeholders 🔹 Testing ideas 🔹 Refining your approach #QIEssentials #QI #MedTwitter #MedEd

Intern year can feel like you are drowning in tasks. Early on, I got the best advice I’ve carried since: Use CHECKLISTS I made one for every patient & added it via a SmartPhrase in EPIC’s handoff. At first, it kept me from missing things. Then, it became a habit. #MedTwitter

As Chief Resident, I sat through a sea of emails daily. One thing became clear: people underuse the SUBJECT line. Bad: “Step 3 exam” Better: “Day Off Request on Floors – Step 3 Exam (12/4, Fri)” Clear subject = faster triage. #MedTwitter #EmailEtiquette #UXinMedicine #GME
