Last night, I was honoured to engage with the Rt Hon.Rachel Reeves and Anas Sarwar at an event focused on Scottish business. We discussed Scotland's growing care home needs and effective ways to meet these challenges head on.

I wish you all a joyous Durga Puja. This is one of the grandest Hindu festivals of the year and a personal favourite. Through prayer, events, and festivities, it celebrates the triumph of good over evil and the goddess as the motherly power behind life and creation.

Tomorrow, we celebrate the victory of good over evil, of light over darkness. The end of Durga Puja reminds us that no matter how challenging life gets, we can overcome all obstacles with courage, faith, and perseverance. Happy Dussehra!

It was an honour to share the stage with Dr Pam Gosal MBE MSP, Poonam Gupta OBE at the Consulate General of India in Edinburgh for their International Women’s Day event and meet so many inspiring young female leaders of tomorrow.

An afternoon tea with Mrs. Gupta was made even more special by our staff, who pleasantly surprised us with a traditional homemade Indian meal. I feel incredibly touched and proud of them for their effort in making our afternoon together so memorable. Thank you!
